Lena Meyer Landrut – Germany can do better than that
Some of you might have noticed, there is a thing called the “Eurovision Song Contest” to be held in Oslo from May 25th until May 29th. You might also have noticed Germany’s finalist Lena Meyer Landrut. You might also have noticed her semi-spastic “dance” style and her pronunciation being…err…sub-standard…
My prediction “Germany – zero points”… But, in defense of my country, I have three words for you:

Nevermind my previous comment, well, from afar she looks like a porn star, but then i saw this video, and she looks really young, so I’m guessing not. Apparently she is 19, still does not make her the best contestant for the whole of europe. but she sings good, but i don’t think that song should represent europe. maby a diffrent song for her would have been better.

@king: I don’t necessarily agree with that…Stefan Raab has always been excellent at predicting what people want to hear and see on stage. I’m sure the cuteness-factor of Lena’s imperfections was the right thing for an audience who has grown tired of note-perfect and well polished acts…Rammstein, although I do like them a lot, would have scored a lot lower…they like to play with the teutonic-cliché Germany still has in the world, but most people don’t seem to get the irony of that and still consider them nationalists, which I find very unfortunate…
